John Walker (February 13, 1744 – December 2, 1809) was a planter, lawyer, and public official from Virginia. Born at Castle Hill in Albemarle County in the Colony of Virginia, Walker received private schooling before graduating from the College of William and Mary. He then moved to Belvoir in Albemarle County, where he engaged in planting. In 1772, Walker replaced his father as a representative of the House of Burgesses.
